Day after christmas. The little zìggy the m0rning after to0 much excitement. He woke up. Walked to where i was sitting in the living r0om and lied down again. Hehe so cute!

Christmases Past

We call her Apo Sic, im n0t sure how her nickname became such. She's my favorite lola. Always quiet, loves watching her grandchildren play, sing, dance or even sleep. She is the pers0n who sh0wed me h0w much fun c0oking can be and h0w its n0t about precisi0n but intuiti0n and inn0vati0n. She always made me delicious meals when i used to stay in pampanga 0n weekdays when i didnt have a yaya. She's my favorite 'yakap' when going to bed.

0ne of the reas0ns why I hated lahar so much when it literally ate our t0wn is because my grandparents lived there forever.. Have built their family there and i have my f0ndest m0st wonderful childho0d mem0ries there - with my grandparents. They n0w live in a subdivisi0n where their garden is the fr0nt of their gate, their whole h0use is of c0ncrete and n0 m0re 'silong' - under the h0use with the co0l co0l breeze and the swing my grandfather made out of r0pe and a piece of 'katsa'

Christmas for me is just n0t the same anym0re. I always wish my tuts and ziggy c0uld see and experience that town i grew up in. How i w0uld do everything i can to bring it back m0st especially for my grandparents...

It would b wonderful to see my y0unger cousins experience my childho0d. Have a Christmas where we literally walk the entire town greeting everybody a Merry Christmas and having trinkets and a taste of each home's specialty. Hmm.. the suman, biringhe, tidtad, kilayin... I get back to my grandparents' house with all sorts of trinkets and tons of coins or small bills in my little purse then me, my sister and cousin would count everything and compare how much each of us had!

Alas... 10 years ago, nature ruined my most favorite place during Christmas. *sigh*

No water!!

Something in our waterline br0ke so we have n0 water since we all woke up! It sucks. I kn0w we have our supply of distilled water for drinking. Its also been raining so we'r n0t sweating a dr0p. But the dirty dishes and the toilet.. Waaah! Its alm0st 6pm, if by 7 we stil d0nt have water, we're going to my aunt's to take a bath. Please please let there be water!

Eye check!

Here we are waiting to get my eye checked at the Borough Medical Instìtute. Been here since 10am, its already 1130 and the doctor's still "on his way". I just hate doctors who make patients wait forever as if we dont have to go to work to0. Sigh..

I woke up this m0rning with itchy left eye. Didnt think it was anything serious, but i got to work and it was getting itchier and itchier. I kn0w i sh0uldnt touch or scratch it but its to0 itchy to ign0re. Heres how they lo0k like at 1105am, thursday. Hope its nothing seri0us. Dang. Everytime im set for a yearend break/vacation something seems to always go wr0ng. Last year i was in a hotel with my two boys, stuck in bed with a terrible flu.:-(
